Lyno Practitioner
Expertise: Strength and Conditioning for athletes of all sports; Movement/Technique Analysis. Restoration of the bodies optimum mobility which support a balanced, flexible and fully functional body through the Lyno Technique.
Bio: Grant returned from the UK in 2012 after studying a BSc in Sport and Exercise Science and a MSc in Strength and Conditioning. His high level of attributes coupled with having been immersed in sport from a very early age has given him a deep personal understanding of human movement analysis and correcting muscle imbalances, weaknessess, and motor patterns that may enable athletes to perform at the best of their ability.

Coach: Domonique Jason
Been CrossFitting since: August 2018
Qualifications:
CrossFit Level 1 Trainer (CF-L1) Bsc Occupational Therapy
Bio: Domonique started CrossFit in 2018 and fell inlove with the sport after one class leading her to qualify as a CF L1 trainer in February 2021.
Dom has been passionate about sport/movement throughout her life with a background in dancing as well as Brazilian jiu jitsu and Muay Thai until she found CrossFit and there has been no looking back since! She loves the intensity and community aspect that brings everyone together. CrossFit has shifted her perspective about her body completely, learning to love her body for what It can do rather than what it looks like and then helping others do the same.
She has a strong passion for helping women build confidence within themselves and assist in their journey in becoming stronger and healthier. With Dom's qualifications in occupational therapy she also has a strong interest in the positive impact CrossFit has on mental health illnesses such as depression and anxiety.
Motto: “how you do one thing is how you do everything” - even the seemingly small stuff count towards building resilience and success in any aspect of life.

Coach & Owner: Aimee Lipinski
Been CrossFitting since: September 2015
Qualifications:
Precision Nutrition Level 1 & CrossFit Level 1 Coach
Bio: Aimee qualified as a nutritionist in 2019. Although an early graduate, her background as a competitive swimmer, coupled with her relentless fitness regime and a passion for healthy food and fueling the body, its not surprising that Aimee has already earned her place as our in house Nutritionist.
She is now the newest member of our Coaching team, Aimee found a love for CrossFit after opening the Box with her husband in 2015, her drive for results and making people enjoy their lives through holistic approaches is clear when you meet her.

Coach and Weightlifting Coach; Gary Clarke
Been CrossFitting since: 2012
Qualifications:
CrossFit L-1 Trainer (CF-L1)
CrossFit Speciality Certificates: CrossFit Football, CrossFit Weightlifting, CrossFit Strongman, CrossFit Movement and Mobility.
Bio:
Gary first tried CrossFit in 2012 and was instantly hooked. This resulted in him completing his CF-L1 in 2013 and immediately beginning his coaching career at Border City CrossFit in the UK. Gary later completed his CF-L2 qualification and a number of speciality certificates. In 2014, Gary along with his wife Sara opened their own CrossFit affiliate in Manchester, UK which is still going strong today. Gary and his family have recently emigrated to Cape Town and have made Diep River CrossFit their new home.
Gary has a passion for teaching the Olympic lifts and is our resident Weightlifting Coach. His favourite benchmark CrossFit workouts are GRACE and ISABEL.
